The title of the show is a tribute to the Chilean poet Vincente Huidobro who founded the "creationismo" movement in literature. According to Huidobr, a poet's mission is not to reproduce, but to create a new language and its own conduct. Hence, the Chilean artists began with abandoning what they had already known, i.e. showing "good circus art", and tried to combine technical artistry with genuine emotions, as well as finding a direct way to communicating with the audience. Un Horizonte Cuadrado is a unique and subtle show, a story without words about life which is movement. On the verge of circus and dance six actors present various stages of life. Suspended in the universe they explore the outer reality which is as fascinating as it is terrifying. Through their gestures they also discover the potential and limitations of their own condition as human beings surrounded by emptiness. Charm, love, hate, desire and indifference: soon humanity will transform into an angular horizon.
